This song is by Taco..Puttin on the ritz. Not consider a classic though. Horrible song.

This song "Puttin on the Zitz was written well before the 80's. What your talking about is the cover, many of them have been done. It was written in like 1930's for the film musical "Puttin on the Ritz", which means dressing in style. Although technically the lyrics were a bit different the lyrics that many people know today were revised in 1946 performed by Fred Astaire in the film Blue Skies
