I have Florida Medicaid Family Planning and was told that it covers all forms of birth control. I have a prescription for BC but wasn't sure how I go about getting it filled. Do I just have to go to the pharmacy, drop off the script and show them my Medicaid card or do only certain pharmacy accept it? I tried calling their offices to ask, but they're closed today.

Well thanks for that response "sabrinaelder", but that's not my question. I know it's Veterans Day, but that has nothing to do with how I go about getting the prescription filled.

Go up to the pharmacy counter and give them your insurance card and prescription. We will then process it, and have your prescription ready in a little while.
In Illinois, about 10-15% of pharmacies, mostly independent, do not accept medicaid. Just ask them, and they will tell you if they accept the insurance.
