The best remedy for cramps is to kneel on your bed and put your head down on the bed so that your knees are up under you and your buttocks are up in the air. Try and rest in this position for at least 15 minutes.

What the doctor did for me when I had very heavy periods, was to give me a male hormone shot. No heavy periods after that.

My Best,
Hope

Heat. If you don't have a heating pad or a microwavable heating pad do this, dampen a dish towel and microwave until hot. Wrap it in another towel and put it on your stomach. It will make the cramping more bearable. Also when you use a tampon that will make your cramps more severe. I cant use them for the first day or so of my period. Try Always pads, they are the best for the heavy crampy days.

Good luck!

The good old hot water bottle is the best remedy I've found. Also exercise helps. (yeah I know it sounds crazy but it works)
