It is storming here right now and I just love it. So relaxing listening to the rain and the thunder and watching the flashes of lightening. Perfect way to start my day with coffee, and P&S.

I love a good thunder storm. You can feel the energy in the air, it is a solid reminder that we are part of the earth and that control is sort of an illusion.
There is nothing like the rain, lightning and thunder when you are cuddling on the couch at night.
Night storms are my favorite!

I LOVE THEM!! its so cool when u g2 bed too. thunderstorms are amazing when u know their not like right on the city and u can still see the flashes and all. I also like it when the lights go out cuz then i have to go look for the lighter and i bump into a bunch of stuff and it feels like a haunted house an all :D and the candle effect is really good too!

I agree with everything that you said and I would like to add that another reason that I like them personally is because I am a gardener/farmer. Without these storms there would be no way to grow food plants on the earth because this is the SOURCE of MANY of the nutrients in our soil. This is natures way of replenishing the soil. Lightning fixes nitrogen in the dirt.The NOISE and the RAIN that comes also helps the plants. NOBODY is caring for those WILD plants except mother nature.

I love thunderstorms...to me it is relaxing and a good excuse to cuddle up on the couch...I don't even mind it when the lights go out, to me that is an adventure. I have a huge window that I can watch the lightning through... ahhh I wish we were having a thunderstorm right now!

Hell yea. I love t. storms. Rain is the most relaxing thing to me. I love seeing the lightning and hearing the thunder. Nothing gets better.

I like thunderstorms too!! The louder the better, I think! :)
I'm not sure why- it's kind of relaxing hearing the storm outside and knowing that I'm safe and can just enjoy it. Whenever I hear that familiar rumble I get all excited- but a lot of people look at me kind of funny.
I'm not alone!!

i'm with ya...thunderstorms for me are in simple terms so calming...my admired form of climate is rain, and thunderstorms and stuff. yet i'm no longer emo or goth. My goth step-sis says i'm the preppiest situation on earth. I take it as a compliment, lol.

Oooh, I love it too. I've been waiting so long for a storm.
I love to sit out on the patio( It's covered) with a hot cup of coffee, a candle to warm our hands,and my kids.It's like magic.
I used to own a parrot that LOVED rain and thunder. He would yell "Outside!" because he wanted to sit out in the rain. I never taught him that. He really learned the meaning of the word by himself!

Yes, we used to watch them come in all the time. We would pull out our aluminum lawn chairs and sit out in the back yard. We musta been nuts.
Never got hit by lightening though.
Where we live now, my wife and I, the whole entire field across from us gives a vast view of all the weather coming in.
It's great except for the winter winds and snow.
