Alrite, A batter is running to first base and, in order to beat the throw, he slides BUT he overslides the base and the 1st basemen tags him. Is he out ?

Those that really matter to you....got it rite. Since it is first you are allowed to over run or over slide the bag.

No. Overrunning first base is allowed as long as the runner does not attempt to advance. This is why nearly all players turn to their right (into foul territory) after crossing first -- turning to the left CAN be interpreted as "attempting to advance" and, if tagged, the umpire may rule him out. Turning right leaves no such ambiguity.

yup, cause if he is off the base, no part of him is touching so he is clearly out. Although you are talking about 1st so no he would not be out BUT he would be out any other base besides home
