She's been eating fruits for awhile, apples, bananas, pears, but they don't fill her up. When can a baby start eating veggies? What signs should I be watching for? Maybe a good website? Thanks everyone.

I don't know how old your baby is, I started with squash as her first solid veggie, aside from baby food that is. I gave her baby food veggies after she had had a few different fruits, and when she was ready for food as an additional meal, like for dinner. I use the frozen winter squash and cook it, also boiled sliced carrots or cooked broccoli and cauliflower minced in the electric food chopper.

Start her on veggies now. I always started them within a few weeks after fruits, or when baby let me know that he was still hungry.

Your baby should have been introduced to veggies before fruit (so they say) If she can eat fruit she can eat veggies.

If you are giving her fruits and she's doing okay then you can also give her veggies. Sweet potatoes and carrots seem to work best with my son.

If your baby is old enough to be on fruit, she's old enough to be on veggies.

mashed potatoes always fill my son up but he's 10 months old and doesn't eat baby food... so i guess it depends if your feeding her jar baby food or making your own
