im buying one set of RAM.for now the DDR2 ram is quite a bargain so im buying 2GB of ram.i wanna know is that any major difference in performance between ddr667 and ddr800 ram? if not im considering buying the cheaper one..

If your cpu and your motherboard's front side buss can handle 800 megs, go for the faster ram.

Hi. Look at the recommended timings. The lower the number the faster the actual operation. Sometimes bargain memory isn't as good.

go with what your motherboard can handle. if it can only support 667's, then buy that, because if you place an 800ram on a 667 motherboard, the ram would step down. but if it can support an 800 you should buy that. its much faster.usually its 800mhz.

by far there is the higher the better and top pc games run much faster with no lag with the higher ram
