How hard would it be to take it apart? Is that a piece that goes bad? Do bearings need servcing? The furnace is about 7 years old.

If one of those cling free tissues got into the blower wheel; you will have all kinds of rumblings.

The squirrel cage is probably not out of round. There is probably something loose. It could be the blower door or furnace access panel.

It may just be a loose bolt. Vibration can cause this. It is possible that bearings have gone bad but I would look for the bolts first. Once you remove the cover, you may be able to locate the source of the noise.
