On offense, it's gotta be Brian Westbrook. Hands down, no competition. The Eagles have 20 offensive TD's this year. Westbrook as 9 of them.... 9!!! He averages over 150 total yards per game, and he never puts the ball on the ground. We do have underrated backup runningbacks, but he is so good that I don't know where we would be without him. Actually I do - our offense would play like they did against the Giants when he was out with injury (aka we scored 3 points).

Defensively, for this season at least, I'm going to give it to Trent Cole. He's one of the best pass rushers in the league, and he's also been pretty damn good against the run this season, making much more of an impact than our higher priced ends. He's the fourth leading tackler for the Birds, and he's third in the league in tackles for a defensive end. He also is second in the league in sacks. He had an "off" game against the redskins, and wasn't getting much pressure, but he still had 6 tackles, which is a good game for an end. The perennial answer for this would have been Brian Dawkins, but injuries have obviously slowed him, so this season, it is Trent Cole.

Brian Dawkins- 7 professional bowls, between the perfect veteran gamers in the league, 861 profession tackles, 33 interceptions for 490 yards and a pair of touchdowns as a protecting participant that is extremely good.

On offense, definitely Westbrook. He is such a key part of both the running game and the passing game that it is virtually impossible for opposing defenses to take him out of the game.

On defense...I didn't realize that Philly had a defense.

for yesterday's game, the best player on the eagles defense was jason campbell... it was his play in the fourth quarter that secured the win for the eagles.
