I saw My Boy Jack which was devastatingly sad but very good, and the Stephen Poliakoff programmes on BBC2 were great.

Over to you...

I agree - My Boy Jack was definitely the best thing on at the weekend, I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed it so much too. Very good for an 'ITV Drama'... when expectations aren't normally very high.
Great to see Daniel Radcliffe in his first major role out of the Harry Potter franchise - I thought he gave a quiet but stirring performance of this character from history, whom I have to admit I wasn't aware of before this wonderful film.
I didn't see the Stephen Poliakoff programmes - I normally watch the Culture Show but missed it this week!

Top Gear, Sunday night, BBC2, 8-9pm, I really enjoyed last nights show, especially the race at the end, lol. Richard Hammond is lovely and so fit for riding the bike so far and so fast, phew, lol.

Can sad be good? Anyway I caught Hollyoaks which in case you didn't know is rather a highbrow soap that deals with all of life's problems by parading fit looking women to take you mind off those problems! I also saw my personal fav 'I got News for you' and two episodes of 'Father Ted' I laughed so much my boobs jiggled! x

My boy Jack was very realistic
it took you back into history' and you can feel the guilt and emotion' his father had,
No chasing cars. no false cheap tough guys.
but just real human emotion
