The reason I am asking is this. I am 5'10". I like to wear heels sometimes. Even in highschool I felt that some guys were intimidated by me. Sometimes I wondered if the fact that I was taller bugged them or the fact that I was in the top of the class with my grades, etc. (do smart women intimidate men at all?)
Tall girls need lovin' too. Don't overlook them! :)

I am 5'3", and I LOVE tall women, I am more intimidated by shorter women, I would be somewhat intimidated by a woman with really good grades, but I wouldn't ask her, so that would take awhile to find out.
I agree, Tall women need lovin' too, There is a stereotype that women don't want a man shorter than them, but since I like taller women, I try to remember that not all women are the same, and some women don't care if they are the taller one, I LOVE taller women.

I think some guys are definitely intimidated as the general rule has always been that your girlfriend should be shorter than you. I actually like tall gals and am only 5 ten myself so every guy is different. I do have to say that you need to be pretty self-confident to date a gal taller than you as folks will always look at you strange and make some comments.

I am 6'-1", so I do not find many women as tall as I am, but I had a blind dates with 2 gals who were taller than I am. One refused to dance with me. She danced with my 6'-5.5" brother instead. As you see, it may be the gal who is he one sensitive about her height, rather than the man. The other tall gal waltzed with me, even though her 41" bust was in my face. Some gals are sensitive, while others are not, as you should see from this. I personally do not care if a gal is 4 or 8 feet tall. The tallest gal l dated for any length of time is 5'-10", 123 pound Megumi from Japan.

I'm not so sure that it was your height that intimidated them! It might have been you quick wit & odd sense of humor!! LOL I do believe that a lot of men are intimidated by tall women! I have always had a problem dating someone shorter than me. I tried it once & couldn't do it!! I'm 5'7", an average height, but there are a lot of short guys out there!! Have a good day, Sweety!!! ☺

it all just depends on the woman
although in all honesty i would have to say tall, smart, and big busted
