I understand Hawaii not being up near the top of the polls, but Kansas plays in a BCS conference and has beaten everyone in their path. I realize they still have Missouri ahead of them, but if they win that game and then beat Oklahoma in the conference championship, and LSU and Oregon still get to play for the national championship, that will be a greater injustice than Auburn was dealt a few years back.

Ok...I am just playing devils advocate on this one really...but it is interesting that Kansas's strenght of schedule is ranked 84th and Southern Cal's is 100th. I really don't think if USC was undefeated that they would be ranked 3rd.

ME! If they had a fancy name like 'Ohio State' - they would be #1 right now for sure. They have a better unbeaten record than Ohio State had, and are the only team in the country ranked in the top five on both offense and defense. If Kansas stays undefeated and beats Mizzou, they HAVE to be ranked #1 going into the Big-12 Championship game - or the rankings are a total joke!

I think Kansas is right where they're supposed to be-for now. While they are undefeated they've only had one win against a top 25 team. Meanwhile Oregon has 2 wins against two top 10 teams and LSU has 4 wins over ranked opponents (two in the top 10, two in the top 25). If Kansas wins out then they should certainly have the nod over my beloved Ducks-it's only fair. Just to mention the Rainbow Warriors: if Hawaii wins out, they should be given the opportunity to play in a BCS bowl as well. A lot of people knocked Boise State last year and those same folks were treated to a great Fiesta Bowl-Hawaii could suprise doubters just as well if given the chance. Kansas has some work to do yet before they wrap up the #1 or #2 slot so let's see what happens-no one can argue that they aren't playing inspired football. Go Ducks!

Kansas is are where they are because of their schedule up to this point. But keep in mind NO ONE expected them to be undefeated at this point. When they picked up the phone to schedule non conference games, they were scheduling WINS to try to get to six to be bowl eligible. But if they win out, defeating Missouri and Oklahoma in the Big 12 Title game, they should be in the title game, whether its as #1 or #2. If they win out they deserve to jump Oregon in the polls, who plays no one of relevance the rest of the year. Kansas meets a top 5 BCS team and potentially another in the title game. Remember, its not if you lose when it comes to the BCS, its WHEN you lose. If Ohio State loses a game earlier in the year, they're probably #3. If LSU loses to Alabama last week, they'd be #7 or #8. Bottom line is if Kansas wins out they deserve the opportunity to play for the title. If they go undefeated and two one loss teams are ahead of them in the final standings, the the BCS is more BS than anything.

If KU runs the table and doesn't make the national title game, I will agree that they got a raw deal. We aren't there yet. Neither LSU nor Oregon have a ranked team left on their schedule. The Jayhawks still have to face the Tiggers. Whatever happens, it has been a magical season for KU fans. I hope they get a shot at the national championship, because I think that they have the tools to bring it home.

Rock Chalk Jayhawk KU!

P.S. To all my SEC friends: The Big 12 is holding 3 of the top 5 spots in the BCS, how about some respect for the Big 12?

I dont think you will hear the Kansas coach making the same claim. They know that although they are a good team, they have not played to level of competition that LSU, Oregon, Oklahoma and so on, If they beat Missouri and then Oklahoma, then you will have a legitimate complaint but right now, Kansas is a good team that is just outside of great.

If what bigt is correct having kansas only beating 2 teams this year with winning records then they shouldn't be in the top25. With that said, they do have big games coming up and control their own rank. I disagreed when OSU was number one because they beat Wisconsin and was undefeated. Who cares? And look what happened to them. So feel lucky to be in the top5 right now because you could be like my tigers with a loss after playing such a brutal schedule. Do you feel like you could beat 6 ranked teams almost back to back? If any fan of any school can say yes to that then put on ur boots b/c it's getting deep. I feel like we're all jumping the gun. It will all come out in the wash. Be happy with what you got.

I agree with most. If Kansas wins out they should be #1. Even over my Ducks, but the fact is the they have only played two teams that are over .500.... Central Michigan and Texas A&M. If they beat Missouri and Oklahoma they should be #1 but they have to beat them both.

After they beat Mizzou & OU, and still aren't #1 and in the BCS Championship.....

Seriously, I think that RIGHT NOW, the ranks are OK. I think we all can agree that LSU or Oregon could and probably would beat KU. Their biggest thrill has to be that they are above OU for now. I hope they win out and play in the big game, but they have 2 teams in the top 5 to get past and IF they do, we all should be JAHAWK JAMMIN"!!!

i'm a great Titans fan and that i loved the drafting of youthful. yet he's had his probability to win that commencing pastime, and has no longer panned out. He only does not throw the ball wisely sufficient to be a starter interior the NFL. He ought to run around and make performs in college, however the NFL is a diverse league, he's contained interior the pocket and communities make him beat them along with his arm. he's not shown to have the skill to try this yet. Jeff Fisher is between the main suitable coaches interior the NFL. he's been by using a franchise circulate and 3-4 rebuilds and has been useful. If the Titans have been 5-11 final twelve months and have been rebuilding, i might supply Vince the pastime, yet this team is built to win now, and Collins provides us the main suitable probability to win right now.
