I have an idea for a charity that gives people items they may have lost in floods, fires., etc. For instance, if someone in the recent California fires had a troll doll that they loved, my organization would try to find them another troll doll and ship it to them for free.

Have you ever heard of any organization that does this?

Do you think it's a good idea?

Do you know anything about starting a charity?

Would you be interested in helping (beyond donating stuff)?

I love that idea!

people like to get rid of stuff ("clutter") from their houses anyway, or people die and the family doesn't want stuff so they want to get rid of it anyway.

WHAT A SUPER IDEA!

I love it!

I think that is such a great idea! The little things you lose are what you remember and miss the greatest after a tragedy..
My ex's home burned to the ground on Christmas eve of 1990. He lost all childhood momentos and family things. He always talked about his "stuff" or a certain item of clothing..
I would be willing to do something to help if you pull it together. Good Luck!

I am not aware of any orgainzation like that, and I too have thought of that. I live in one of the evacuated areas, and I do think you can help people with this type of organization. I do not know how to start the charity, but I suggest you do a search in your area for any laws and regulations that would govern it. This is a great idea kiddo.....take it and run with it...

It is an AWESOME idea, I would donate if it was an item I had, but unfortunately I know nuthin about starting a charity.

I am an animal lover and I think it was so horrible how many pets were left behind / unable to be taken, etc..

AWESOME IDEA GOD BLESS
