Tourrette Syndrome (depending on websites) can start to display from from early as 2 years (but it's often hard to tell with young children) but generally between 6-10 years of age, and could be a combination of vocal tics (spontaneous sounds, noises, words) and physical ticks (blinking, twitching, head turns, coughs) or just one set and would occur multiply times daily for a year, generally on and off for over a year, without a 3 month interval in between tics for it to be diagnosed as Tourette's.

If you think your child may have Tourrette's you should speak to your pediatrician and start monitoring his tics as you won't be able to get a firm diagnosis for about a year.
