May is a good time of year. Not much rain. It can be quite hot at times.

Yes - Cuba has wonderful beaches - in particular Varadero, Cayo Coco and Guardalavaca.

The Cuban people are warm and welcoming.

(And the Cuban government claims that its elections are MORE democratic than the US - you don't $$$$$ to be elected to the equivalent of the House of Representatives.)

Weather In Cuba In May

Cuba in May is beautiful! Cayo Coco is perfect all year-round, but May is a great time to go.
You shouldn't have any problem with rain (however, even if it does rain, it's beautiful and doesn't last long).
Go to Cayo Coco (Tryp Cayo Coco is a wonderful resort). Clean beach, awesome people, white sand like powder and water different shades of turquoise and clear.
Have a wonderful time and I guarantee you'll go back in no time and won't want to travel anywhere else after...
Don't listen to the negative reports about Cayo Coco (or Tryp for that matter)...they really don't know what they're talking about because they seem to not know how to deal with management and have a negative attitude. If they encounter a situation at the hotel, things can be resolved if dealt with respectfully and appropriately.

Have a wonderful time!! :-)

Cuba is fantastic! Wonderful beaches, history, lots to do and incredible people proud of their country. The weather in May is usually great, hot and sunny although the same as elsewhere in the Caribbean rain is always a possibility. The weather site below will give you past history in that regard. the other sites will give you lots of info. Ignore Bill W's comment, just go and enjoy yourself. Chances are you go once, you'llgo back.

May is the best time to go to Cuba. Not much rain. Warm , but not to warm. Excellent weather, I have been in Cuba in May several times. A tropical island like Cuba has many beautiful beaches. Most tourists go to Varadero beach, but I prefer the beaches near Havana
called " Havana del Este" beaches ( Eastern Havana beaches) For a picture go to

we went to cuba in two yrs ago we went on the 21st for 2 wk, not a drop of rain the whole time. I think from mid june is when the rain gets heavy. We visited varadero and the beach was out of this world, warm and shallow. You must go down the beach at least one night to see the sunset.

By GOD, if most of your answers have not done any research, what are they gonna do, when Chavez, etc.etc. start landing troops in the USA, People are you gonna be READY for this, cause its coming, If you did not figure out what the change is, I am sorry for you, as I am sure you were taught by big liberals in school. Nothing so erodes public confidence as the preception of ineptitude!! if you do not understand this, look up the words, because this is what our nation is right now!!!! And lets put blame where it belongs, the public school systems, colleges. etc. etc. etc. all liberal since about 1938!! I believe it was the movie written in the wind, was made just for this reason!! to get GOD out of our public schools, and Wow Americans stood by and let it happen, how very sad indeed!!
