You know who I am talking about, those people who drive down the highway with their turn signal \ blinker on!

For one, they CANNOT SEE, or they would see that constant blinking reminder in their dashboard.

Also, they CANNOT HEAR, for these things make noise, click click click click click...

I think the cops should pull over these people and take their license, what do you think?

Driving in the middle east, I have seen them all (I'm not a local):
- swerving from lane to lane.
- turning without signal (with/without cellphone)
- driving counter the flow of traffic
- talking to the other car's driver while moving at 60kph
- making a sudden turn THEN signaling
- hitting a parked car and running away (my car was hit)
- stopping on the middle of a busy, fast-moving highway
- making a left turn from the rightmost lane
- ignoring traffic lights (during night)
- not turning on their lights
and the one i hate the most
- tailgating me while running at 120kph! (they are like 2 feet away from my back!)

I have to admit that I have done the same thing. It might be extremely rare, and only have happened on a couple of occasions but you never know. If it happens on a regular basis, then the drivers either need to be retrained, or have their license pulled. I agree with you on that point. The largest group of people that I have seen that from are truck drivers. It could be that the turn signal cancel mechanism is broken and they are not familiar with the truck.

For what ever reason, it happens. Just be careful around them and give them some space. No need to get into a wreck because some idiot is driving.

good luck.

I think everyone over 65 should be required to take a road test each time their license is renewed (4 years in my state). I am just a few years from that myself. Next to teens and early 20s drivers, older drivers are involved in the most accidents. There is a time for everything, including giving up driving for the safety of yourself and others. As for being pulled over by the police, yes, ticket them for not turning off their turn signal, and ticket those who do not use one.

Dear Zany Zuchinni:

Look around, sweet heart! There are people all around us doing things they should not be doing [think Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears ... ugh].

Soo many things should be outlawed, like:
- exposing oneself without any underpinning's on
- driving while your blinker/turn signal has been on for over 5 minutes
- having offspring if you do not wear any underpinnings!
- need I say more ....?

Love always,
Smarty pants

I used to think the same thing until I became that blinking person. I had my cd player volume so loud, I didnt hear the blink..blink...

So...yes "people like this should be driving,." People make mistakes....but that doesnt mean their driving priviledges should be revoked..

I'd prefer those people to others who change lanes WITHOUT signaling while talking on their cellphones.
