Most infants learn to roll over between four and five months, but there is a fairly wide range of normal. Historically they rolled over from stomach to back first, then later from back to stomach. In recent times, since we have told mothers to put their babies on their backs to sleep, many infants are learning to roll over from back to stomach first.

Don't be afraid to put your baby on her stomach when she is awake and active. Pushing up and holding the head up are natural activities, and will give rise to increased strength and control that will eventually lead to rolling over.

Every baby is different. My daughter walked before she crawled at a little over a year old. My son crawled at 7 months. Usually boys are the slowest. AT EVERYTHING!!!!! They are lazy. And never grow out of it. (ha ha) Just give it some time. Your baby is it's own person and will happen soon. Lots of luck.

She will-just practice w/her. Put her on her stomach and show her how to roll over. show her how moving her legs can roll her over. I did this w/my son and the same day he rolled over on his own from his stomach to back (that's the easiest).
