My everyday ride is a 1987 custom Lowrider. It's hard to say what ride I like the best because any day that I'm riding is a good one.I also have a '59 Panhead that doesn't get much ride time because I'm doing some restoration on it. I also have a '75 XLCH that doesn't get out too much because the Lowrider just feels better. I've been riding Harleys for almost 35 years and don't plan on ever switching to anyting else.
An extened front end takes a little while to get used to but after that you won't give it much thought.

3, 91 FXR , I've had this one since 02 when my original ( bought new ) was stolen in Rapid City, needless to say I'm not too fond of Sturgis anymore.
91 XL 1200 sidecar , (The Dogs Bike) built for Holli, our pit bull as a get well present ,after she was run over by a school bus. She loves to ride and it's a lot of fun to take her.

90 FXR ( The Old Lady's Bike) after a few years of riding a stock bike she decided she wanted a custom ,so I built this one for her. It can be seen at
http://www.hotrodhotlinebikes.com
about 20 or so bikes in on the readers ride page ,Purple/Pink FXR ( they nic named Foxy Lady)
All 3 bikes can be seen on my 360 page ,though the pics are kind of small.(If you click on them they get a bit larger)
I don't know much about the Rocker, but I've ridden "raked" frames and extended front ends, the only "significant" difference seems to be that one loses some turn radius, requiring a bit more room for tight cornering.
Aside from lowering the suspension on your bike, have you looked into having your seat customized? You can easily gain an extra inch w/o sacrificing any noticeable comfort.
Locally our favorite ride is through Las Padres National Forest , but I also like the areas around Oatman, Kingman and Halupai Arizona.

Up until this year, I had a 1978FLH(Shovelhead) and a 2004 RoadKing. I owned the Shovel head for 23 years and loved it. The RoadKing is fuel injected, 5 speeds and twin cam, so it is really a step up for me.I am short also(5'3") so I don't think I would like the extended fork.I have been to Sturgis on my bike, but my favorite trip is the end of February. We trailer the bikes to my aunt and uncle's house in Mobile. Alabama. We ride from there to Daytona. We only spend about 4 days around Daytona Bike Week before heading to Key West for a few days and then up the Gulf side and back to Mobile. It is great after an Indiana winter.I wish I knew how to put a picture of my bike on and set up the link, but I do not. Maybe, I can ask that in a question. LOL My RoadKIng is Sierra red.

No I don't, always wanted one. If I had one before now I would have ended up dead. I was way too immature, and irresponsible to own a Harley. I don't think I would have made it home from the bar most nights if I was riding a Harley. I'm about to get a settlement, and I'm thinking about buying a nice used one with cash. If I stay here in Maine, I don't want to be making payments on something That I can only ride 8 months out of the year.

I bought my wife a 2006 883L last year in September while I tried to decide what kind of bike I wanted for myself i certainly didn't want a "girls bike". Then we found out she was pregnant so I started playing around on the Sportster and test rode a Road King and Super Glide and decided I prefer the thinness of the Sportster and the handling ....... I have put a little over 6000 miles on it in the last year, having left it in the garage during the summer when she was nearing the birth of our son and money was too tight to spend on the 5000 mile service .... but I generally ride I-95 on and off of a few choice on ramps and then I cross into FL and back up 17 to the house .. and a few times a year to Daytona .... but I prefer to go to Daytona when it isn't Bike Week or Biketoberfest personally ......

A full custom 93 Harley Fatboy...Not like any Fatboy you will see on the street...I have had her for four years, it is my second street bike...Have been riding since I was a child....
Favorite Ride- Sturgis...Daytona was a great party...Less Cops
Don't have a link on my bike...
I'm not a fan of the Twin Cam or newer bikes 2000-Present...Even though they are faster and more reliable than the EVO's, they no longer have the same feeling that was made famous of Harley...The new bikes are too well balanced where they now feel like a Jap Bike...Older bikes feel like you are on a rocket ship with the vibrations and sounds that are now smoothed out...
The Rocker does look very neat and it is about time that Harley came out with 96" w/6spd Trans...

2006 FXD35 , 35th Anniversary Superglide.
Came off the dealer's diplay stand on 01 July 06 with 7 miles on the clock. Been riding it since.
My favorite ride? It would be horrible to say "to work" but that's where I go. Any day is a good day to ride, and any ride is a good one. Sorry, that's just me.
New models? I kinda like what they did with the Nightster, but all that was for me was to make it look older. I don't really like the newer stuff. I have my old stuck in the mud reasons.

I had a 1993 black springer, and had for 13 years and rode to Sturgis in 1994. 3000 mile round trip from Georgia. I now have a 2006 Big Dog K-9 bike that i think you can see by clicking on my avatar and going to my 360 for pictures. It is 9 feet long, 117 C.I. and custom flame paint.
