I love X-mas, but I'm tired of having it shoved down my throat. I mean x-mas movies, x-mas commercials, x-mas toy catalogs. We haven't even had Thanksgiving yet.

I mean the Grinch was on Tv last night. Do we need two whole month to prepare for x-mas, are we that slow that we need basically November to help with the x-mas shopping.

Nothing is wrong with Black Friday, that's okay, But come on the first week in November.

So what do you think?

I don't mean really banned, I just mean slowed down.

I know! I think that the big business that is selling x-mas stuff THIS EARLY should get a grip, and wait until December.

Just deal with Xmas on your own terms. Don't feel pressured to spend lots of money or stress out over it. Don't send Xmas cards to everyone you've ever met. Turn down party invitations if you don't feel like going. Learn to say "No" to family members if they are being ridiculous.

A low-key Christmas is really the best holiday you can have. Trim it down to what you consider "essentially Christmas" and enjoy!

I don't even celebrate it any more....once I found out it came from pagan rituals that celebrate fertility....if you don't believe me look it up.... Anyway, I don't decorate and I don't buy gifts and I have been having great Christmas's ever since I stopped celebrating it...

I think it's a rediculous holiday that promotes buying, buying, buying and more buying...

There is no shame in wishing for a small, dark, cardboard
box in which to house oneself with the onset of Christmas cheer- choose the the box with flaps!
I can vouch for it!

Christmas shouldn't be banned, but it shouldn't be pushed so early. I swear every year they start Christmas earlier and earlier
