Just keep it at 2.4 GHz and you'll be fine.

If you overclock you void the warranty and you also run the risk of destroying the processor, there's also the question of how far you can actually go and you only find out by going past it (at which point you just have to hope you haven't damaged the chip).

Even if you think you've got it overclocked to a still somewhat stable speed you'll never be able to have confidence in the machine.

Besides, it's not like any of the overclockers are actually getting any benefit out of it (since the stock speed is still fast enough for what they do).

each and each and every proc has a diverse sweet spot because each and each and every consumer has diverse hardware of their device. What you want to do is flow to a particular p.c....and boot the device, if it really is sturdy operating video games and different issues, then attempt going to a larger incremental clock p.c.. So say you overclock to 2.4ghz and it;s tremendous...attempt 2.5ghz, then 2.6, flow as severe as you could flow till it starts reboot interior living house windows...or locking up. So say you get to three.2ghz and the device is sturdy, so that you up it to three.4ghz and boot to living house windows...yet then it locks u p or reboots without word. then you clock it again all the way down to three.2 and reboot, making particular it really is nonetheless sturdy.

i advise u neva overclock unless ur RAM is working at the same speed and if that is the case then u shouldnt need to overclock. if u overclock u will loose ur warnty and possiably blow the CPU.

You can't just ask people how fast a chip can go, you have to test the individual chip.
