Well, the strength of the dollar has declined tremendously since 2002. The national deficit continues to rise. America is no longer viewed favorably around the world. We are about to enter the second recession of George W. Bush's Administration, and people are losing their homes at record pace, with the Housing Market burst.

Bush rejects health care for our children, he has done nothing to help Social Security for future generations. He has done little to help homeless Veterans.

So, I would say yes, George W. Bush has contributed greatly to the weakening of the nation. He has been a horrible President.

Our economy definitely seems to be getting weaker. Militarily, I think people might percieve us as stronger though because we are at war. But then the fuel prices, heightened by the war, are the very thing that seem to be dragging our economy down. It will be very interesting to see what the next President is able to do with the Iraq/Middle East issue. I don't think it's an easy issue, and I don't think it's going away any time soon. It will be an albatross around the next President's neck, maybe the next two or three President's necks.

America is getting weaker because a lot of money is flowing into the Middle East instead of using these at home to improve the economy and strengthen military might.

In many ways. Bush's war is impoverishing America.
There was no reason to attack and invade Iraq.
Civil rights, privacy, and even habeas corpus are weakened to the point where they are meaningless.
Abroad, the US is more hated than ever its been in its history. His tax cuts that favor the wealthy are further impoverishing America's ability to maintain its infrastructure.
I would say yes.

Internally, America is a mess. I wouldn't lay it all on the door step of Mr. Bush, but for Dem's he is the poster child of all that is wrong with the world. Clearly there's a LOT more to America's so-called "demise" than just George Bush. There are serious issues in this country that need to be addressed.
Values, morals, education, taxes, immigration, etc. Ultimately, change MUST come from the American people. It will NOT come from our elected officials who simply bend with the wind on issue after after. One thing history has taught us is that true change will ONLY come from the will of the people.

once you will see people escape from you because you are American and then you will know what did G.W.B do for his country, before people were saying there is a different between the people of America and the politics but now the result is different watch-out you are really weak

no, the only thing that is weaker is the perception of us. if people just for a second had a better outlook, and maybe walked around in Bush's shoes, they could gain a little perspective. Im not saying you have to love him, but maybe understand him a little more.

Maybe in terms of other countries actually liking us. But I think we're actually getting stronger as far as army and weapons and stuff.
