I totally desagree with the poor get poorer because they don't know how to manage money .

The worl is always been this way, there would be different categories the poor ,the working poor and the rich.

Some were born in wealth, if they got rich in the honest way or the crooked way it's their business,! what counts is that the rich created jobs ,they invested their money, yes to make a profit I don't doubt that ,but this is normal for the businiss world ! but they have created jobs, and by doing this the countries trives and prosper! and give the so called blue collar worker or the working poor ,as everyone call us now the chance to have cars ,homes, keep the kids happy by buying them things and give them and education ,so we have done this and continue to do do this to the best of our abilities.

We might not be rich but we manage to survive, therefore we are greatful for the rich that give us this jobs to go to . In regard of the poor it's another issue, those are the less fortunate ,there are many reasons why a person is poor, I am talking about North America only here, It's called "The land of opportunities" and it is ! but unfortunately to some it sure doesn't seem that way, some are either to sick to work,or the are toxic dependents , mental illness could be a factor as well, luck of intelligence, the loss of a business or a job, loss of a family or a loved one, and misfortune all around.

It doesn't take much to fall into a deep depression and never come out of it.
Now going back to your question , I was one of those working poor for a very longtime and it never crossed my mind to steel from my employer! because I was thankful to have a job and a pay cheque every Thursday. I have seen people who stole and perhaps even made a profit on disonhesty ,but that on their concience not mine!

I undertood your question and I know that you didn't mean leterally stealing , there are many way of stealing ,in regard of the Government I believe that the people appointed do not see us as individuals ,we all have numbers and they don't give a dam if we struggle and we and the rest of the country have food on the table to feed the kids or go to the buy medicine . As long that they get what they ask for and go for supper in an expensive place, who cares about the rest of us!

Their money comes in from "Easy Street" . If this people would stop and really look into our lives with a some respect then perhaps they would realize that you cannot get blood from a stone.
