used to watch the Dark Shadows series, I have got a whole heap of the papaerback novels about Collinwood and Barnabas. It was on around 1966. I am chuffed to bits to find its now been released on DVD, and I can finally see it though be it 40 years after the event, and its also being shown over here in the UK on a cable channel. What did you think of it.

I never missed that show and loved it so much. I will be getting that on DVD myself. Might be something to add to the christmas list. Cant wait.

I watched Dark Shadows once in a while when I was a teenager. I lived in Texas at the time, if that matters. I loved the vampire guy and the scary story line but was never a regular viewer. Had too much else going on in my busy young life.
I might watch it now since it's available on DVD.

I did when it first aired on TV!!! You must be a real fan of Barnabas! Remember the scandal concerning the actress who played the governess name Victoria Winters? She was dated the husband of Sunny, oh I can't remember the last name but this woman was in a coma a long time. It was in the news. The actress (Alexandra Moltke) had to testify that she was having an affair.

I watched it when I was in the service and later all the bikers I hung around would always be home to watch it when it came on TV. We were all hooked. Dark Shadows was the Harry Potter of TV shows and everyone was sooo p.o'd when they took it off.

I loved Dark Shadows when it was on TV. I used to watch
it every afternoon back then. Nice to know it's available on DVD.

My mom and my sons used to watch this every day after school. I was working so did not get to see it. They loved it. I thought it was funny because my Mom was 37 years older than me and she liked "Dark Shadows."

Oh, I loved dark shadows. I was one of the ones who raced home from school to watch it. I thought Barbabas and the other characters were wonderful and I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. It was quite fascinating to me.

Hi Roxy! So how are you? ( I'm 4 wks post-op) I actually never watched Dark Shadows but my older kids used to run
in the door after school and turn it on. They loved it!

I loved it. The first show I watch A hand came out of the grave and scared me so bad I had to leave the room. It took me a week to be able to watch it again. I was hooked very fast. It was one of my favorites back them. Hope you enjoy it as well.
