No, never. But I can see why you would do that. You are connecting with a loved one through an article of clothing they wore, and therefore, connecting to that person. I do it in other ways though. I see a painting which my mother loved, and I think of a comment she made about it, or I see some other heirloom which reminds me of my father or something he may have said about it. It is like a time capsule is opening up, you go back for a moment and share an earlier experience with your loved ones. The speed of light is 186,000 miles per second, but there is nothing faster than the speed of a single thought.

Anyone that has lost someone, knows that putting on the clothes, and smelling the clothes of your loved one that passed is a comfort.....I lost my first husband, and I left his clothes hanging in the closet of a long time, I would go in the closet and hug his clothes, and smell them.....it comforted me

I would possibly, but I cannot fit into many peoples' clothes, being 6'5" and pretty broad-shouldered... but I used to wear my Uncle's old hat, until it got too ratty and fell apart... He passed away in 1978.
My girlfriend sometimes sleeps in my T-shirts... I think it's cool.

I wear my bf's Tshirts and sweatshirts all the time at home, and I like to curl up in an afghan my grandma made. She passed away in August and I miss her like crazy.

No. I never had anything until my step father passed away and after the fire I gave it away. Decided that someone should be benefiting from it. Still miss him and think of him often. Enjoy the socks!

That's a nice thought. I sometimes wear my Mom's robe, - she passed away in 1996, so yes, I guess I am doing that too.

I don't personally do it but my g/f is ALWAYS wearing my shirts around the house. She says she likes that it gives her "my smell" when I'm not around.
