Sometimes. Especially if I like their questions and want to answer more of them.
I set mine to private due to a particular P&S'er being a major pain.

Yes, but Honey, some people have been so harassed and had their questions deleted and trolled to death, it's the only way they can stay here. Even then, some wear out and leave.

yes that does bug me.. it aslo bugs me when there is no way to get in contact with that person.. like they turned off their IM or their email option.. cause what if the answered your question and you had anther question back for just them? very irritating!
