It's dripping from a joint. I tried putting all-weather sealant on it but it hasn't stopped. It was newly installed a year ago.

It's plastic and their don't appear to be any weeds.

It is obviously leaking at a joint of some kind. Forget all these mastics etc as they never ever work. What you should do is take off the joints and clean it thoroughly. Check out the manufacturers name and it can be found on the fittings , on the down pipe or the joint you take out. Find out where it has come from and either buy a new joint complete or buy just the new rubber seals and replace them only. If the gutter is round in shape then you can buy ANY round fitting as they are made to a British Standard. If they are the square type then you will have to replace like with like as they are all slightly different shapes. Round and square are available from Travis Perkins, Plumb Center and many other localised suppliers. Look at yellow pages. I have been fitting and repairing gutters for 15 years and if it was one of my installations I would have fixed it for you for free inside 2 years. When you put the new fitting into place make sure you pull the gutter up to the mark shown on it, then it will not slip out again with the changes in temperature. You might need to loosen off the brackets to make the gutter slide. Best of luck and don't fall off the ladder and wear a hard hat for safety.

Its possible the leak is a result of weeds growing in it. Pull out the debris and make sure the gutter is properly fixed at the joint

Apply a water sealant (often available in aerosol form) to both sides of guttering.

The gutter needs to be sealed AND repitched. Water is pooling near the joint.

unclip the joint and there should be a rubber insert it may be twisted or the cowboys threw it away for speed , but dry it well and use a bituemen type gunk and reclip

Is it plastic or metal? clean and dry the areas thoroughly and reseal with mastic. This should do the trick.
