I don't think any importance should be placed on it at all. Some men just don't feel the urge to start putting notches on their headboard as a peer pressure result.
I would say that you have a guy who seriously contemplates things and has eschewed sex before the age of 22 as maybe distracting from studies or too big a commitment to make in his teens whilst his friends are in a hurry as if there's there's a competition going on.
Some people don't learn to drive until they're in their late twenties or thirties or later still. No one places any great significance there, but we all tend to look for some motive or sinister reason why a guy would wait until he pops his cherry.
Maybe he's shy or lacking confidence. Whatever the reason, there's no point in putting any store by his decision or looking for unhealthy motives.

Good luck. In my country 90% wait until marriage 28-30age.(India)and the number is some 1or 2 billion.

I would think he is not a womanizer. Maybe sex is special to him. To equate sex with love is wonderful. The other (4 lettered word) is just 4 legs in the bed.

He is probably one of the strongest men you will ever meet. To last thru the teen years and not cave to peer pressure and "intense, crazy hormones" is a huge feat!

I didn't until I was about 24 years old. And I would rather not say how I lost it. Lets just say a bunch of my friends took me somewhere!

I think he's a sensible chap. I wish i hadnt give in the peer pressure and started so young. He's obviously a strong person!
