But everyday she had contact with her father and she described each and every incidents to her father. Her father told her to tell me to get out of the house. She told me that her father told me so. But she never told me to get out of her house, in stead of that she tried to keep me in her house whenever I tried to leave her house. So can I say that emough mental cruelty was made on me? can I file the case of divorce on thsi ground? If yes, when can I file the case?

What you need to do is tell her father to stay out of your business. Then, you need to work on your marriage. He needs to concentrate on his own life. I would tell my parents this if they decided to interfere in my personal matters.

You don't need to have a specific reason to get divorce. The courts could care less about the emotional side of it. That is why irreconcilable differences is a popular reason.
Just file and get away, placing blame only fuels the hurt. Just forgive, let go and get out. Usually those who've truly suffered emotional cruelty will take the easy way out. Placing blame in the eyes of the court isn't the easy way, simply because it causes the other party to have to defend themselves. Instead of accepting the circumstances and getting on with their own lives.

You can divorce for any reason. Sounds more like you just need to get on with it and consult a lawyer. She has done nothing to constitute mental cruelty so that one is a no go. Try saying irreconcilable differences. She can't make you stay either. You have made that choice on your own because technically, you are an adult and are free to go anywhere you please.

Don't make haste. If you and your wife love each other no one can separate you. But if there is no love it is better to be separated but not in haste. give some time and think in cool mind. Try to make your own house and bring your wife in your house. Matter will be solved automatically.

You were 'staying' in your wife's house after your marriage?????

In other words, you weren't 'living' with her!

Looks like another case where a lawyer will be the only winner......
