i really dont see a problem with it...

i get that but like, people kiss all the time and swap saliva, i share drinks with my friends.. dont we all just need to exchange some bodily fluids every now and again ?

I don't at parties because I know other people don't like it. Or on celery/carrot sticks I'll use the other end (but I won't triple-dip those in public :)).

But I do it only out of consideration to others, I don't believe it's really a problem. People are such germaphobes! I mean, when I eat a large chip, I break the end of it more than I chew it, I hardly touch it and I definitely don't slobber all over it. I wouldn't like sharing a dip with a young child, but I don't know any adults or teens who get lots of spittle on their food when taking a bite. Some people in previous double-dip questions have complained about seeing lipstick in the dip, well I agree that would be gross but personally I've never seen that.

yeah i dont see the problem with it either. I just dont like when people put their fingers in dips....

well when you double dip saliva goes on your food and if your sick you will get the other person sick.
