me, i always take my shoes off in the building*

I'm not Christian but I have also attended Unitarian services sometimes, and I've been barefoot for those. I never wear footwear, but a church would be among the last places I'd want to wear them! Spirituality isn't the main part of my barefooting, but it does play a part... I believe in walking softly and gently in sacred and ancient places; churches, graveyards, ancient castles, etc.

I'm sorry if some people take offense at my bare feet; I think how we worship should be between each individual and their deity (as long as it harms none -no sacrifices :P). I don't tell others to take their shoes off.

I could go barefoot, but I work every Sunday; therefore, I havn't gone to churh in a while. and the only time they have their service is on Sunday.
