I mean really...look at what they are doing. All the recalls...unfair trading practices...threatening us with dumping our dollar if we try to do anything about it...sending our pets tainted food.....and the list goes on and on.

I don't understand why we as Americans don't say ENOUGH!!! Screw you China...

I have already started. It's hard as hell to NOT buy anything in China...but if you try it can be done.

So what you are saying is that Americans should take this crap from them so we don't "upset" them...

Hey how about if I send some lead painted toys for your kids to play with, poison your dog, feed you fish with unknown chemicals in it, then tell you not to get mad at me...

How much sense does that make?

The average American would rather save a dollar on an inferior product than support their fellow American. It's the old "I've got mine, you get yours". This nation stopped supporting the American people a long time ago. It's really sad.

When will people realize our country is in debt over nine trillion dollars and the standard of living drops every day? Apparently only a crisis, when the country is on it's knees, will people wake up and accept responsibility. How many people look for an American made car? Every day on this board people talk about how overpaid workers are in this country. The people complaining the loudest are the wealthiest. If is ok for them to be financially well off, why not their neighbors?

The average wage in the US is $29,500. It's not too surprising many people are forced to buy the cheapest product, and with $4.00 gas on the horizon it will only get worse.

So we're aggressive if we don't like getting poisoned?, this just
shows the off the reality dial mind set of some people, so fine call us aggressive, absolutely unbelievable!!!. To answer your question, yes we should be doing everything in our power to make it clear to the business leaders in this country that we don't like the current state of affairs and want it to change. If we have to do that by boycotting or whatever it takes than so be it, in the long run ( a concept many don't seem to get! ) it will be better for the country and it's people. Part of the reason we have such a huge debt is we don't keep the money here, plain and simple.

I dont know if I even believe China is adding poisons to the products, sounds like a US government job to me
Good way to install more fear into the people, and good eugenics tool for population control.

Of course no one really wants to do anything about it because we all like getting our cheap stuff and we don;t care much about anyting else.

Instead of a boycott, how about revoking "Most favored nation" trade status. How about some tariffs on Chinese goods.

Out boys in Washington don't quite have the stomach for that.

Easy: Many America based multi-national corporations buy or produce in China their products. Also, America is currently in over 1 trillion dollars of debt to China. China holds nearly 1.5 trillion dollars in credit from the USA government.

Simply put, if we were to boycott China, we'd end up destroying our economy.

yes why not!!!! it is really very much perplexing that we are the consumer and still we are buying all this inferior made products just because they are cheap and on sale but if you really analyze such things you only use it for a couple of days and they all breaks downs and then we go back and buy another same product made in china including shoes, clothes, appliances, christmas lights, and other electrical product that are of low quality... WAKE UP PEOPLE, YOU ARE ALL BEING GYPPED BY ALL THOSE SALES ADVERTISING AND KEEP ON BUYING SUCH INFERIOR PRODUCTS, PAY A LITTLE MORE AND GET A WELL MADE PRODUCT MADE HERE IN THE U.S.A. AND HELP OUR OWN PEOPLE KEEP THEIR JOB AND OUR OWN COUNTRY...INSTEAD OF PATRONIZING THIS INFERIOR MADE STUFFS. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!!

We should. We should also contact our elected officials and tell them enough is enough, No more out sourcing our jobs and no more rewarding American company's for moving their factories over seas.
