CONSULT A DOCTOR.
Yahoo Answers is hardly the forum for this.
Pregnancy means that several medicines are forbidden to you for the safety of the soul you are carrying.
Be Careful and God bless you.

Always seek advice from your doctor or even hospital in your case. If your not getting enough oxygen, think of your child. If your not feeling well, the baby surely isn't feeling well. I just got over the flu and I'm only 4 months pregnant. I would reccomend that if you call your ob clinic that your are currently seeking prenatal care from to ask them about a drug you could possibly take to easy the symptoms of your flu. Also invest in a vicks vaporizor. It works WONDERS! Don't have any fans on in the room, just let the vaporizor do it's magic. And get those nice I think they are from Vicks shower circles that release vapors to help you breath when your sick. I wanted to get them, but they are quite pricey for just 3. Also drink LOTS of WATER! Nothing can help that cough other than nice cold water. Other than that, I hope you feel better soon! Good Luck!

you should consult with your doctor to make sure everything is okay. Since you're pregnant, you may be stuck to natural home remedies.
Drink lots of fluids. Have your chicken soup!
for the cough, you can have lemon tea with honey. Use real lemons. Or you can slice some ginger, drop them in a your tea kettle full of water, and boil it. add honey, and drink it. It will alleviate the coughing.
hope you feel better soon.

Your baby is fine! you do not need to worry about having flu while your pregnant, however dont ever self medicate, there are tons of medicines that can harm your baby and people will always tell "when I was pregnant ....." dont listen to them, everyone has their own opinion, go to your doctor to sort out the stuffy nose thats about all he can do for you and make sure that you are taking your vitamins! they are very important for you and your child, did you know (some useless info) that in the olden days when pregnant woman didnt take their vitamins especially the calcium, their teeth fell out after birth because the baby takes all her calcium from your teeth for their bones etc..interesting hey!
get better soon xxx

You're more than likely ok. Coughing and congestion are normal with the flu, and also with pregnancy. You know your body best though, and if it feels wrong to you you should talk to a doctor, if only to set your mind at ease.

Don't take ibuprofen!!! Take acetaminophen otherwise known as tylenol. Sounds like a cold, but if it feels like there's fluid in your chest you should see a doctor. Getting a fever and having pneumonia can cause your body to go into early labor, which you don't want at this date. See a doctor to be safe.

Hi had this problem a few months ago, im 25 weeks pregnant.
Spoke to my pharmacist ( who ive known for a while and trust), he told me to take paracetamol, the stated dose, get lots of rest and make lots of hot honey and lemon drinks.
Pour out a mug of boiling water, add three spoons of clear honey and add two slices of lemon, sip and enjoy!
This worked a treat for me, unfortunatley whilst pregnant theres no other medication you can take. Try this and get yourself to a doctor if you feel realy rotten Good luck!

Oh my goodnesss.
What you should do right now, is see a doc! Right now. Even if its quite ok, its always best to see a doc if you are pregnant.
Its your future baby in there and i dont think i would spare any expense if i were you.
Still, if you do not wish to see a doc since being pregnant can make walking a pain, go watch your diet, have loads of sleep, eat nice chicken soup and excercise.
DONT OVERDOSE ON DRUGS

If you are having trouble breathing, then you are having LUNG PROBLEMS. Those can be so very icky and miserable.
I have been having lung problems for over a year now, and I have went through 3 prescriptions of prednisone and I am currently on my fourth prescription of it.
There is the possibility that you could have pneumonia, or bronchitis or a lung infection.
Please go see a doctor. Be well for you and your baby!!!
GET WELL SOON!!
