so under my computer there is a yellow question mark with exclamation mark too, its under OTHER DEVICES, then under that there are two things: 1 is unknown device, and the 2nd is VIDEO CONTROLLER(VGA COMPATIBLE) and both of those have the yellow question marks, meaning there is a problem...

the guy i bought this from just installed a fresh windows professional operating system on it

when i go on the internet, SCROLLING up and down is NOT smooth, this is what bothers me, that i cant even play simple games online (like from addictinggames.com) but mostly the internet surfing makes me mad that its not smooth

any advice?

Sounds like they didn't install the right video drivers.

Update video drivers.

The "unknown device" delete it from device manager and reboot, see what it finds on reboot . . . might give enough clue to find the right driver for it

your laptop doesn't have the video driver installed, and possibly a few other drivers.
