There is still time: boys carry on growing much later than girls, and I would think that the jaw is one of those bits that grows for the longest time.

Genetics, and any orthodontics you may have had also can play a part.

OK- not sure why that is essential; don't know that many guys where they have "prominent" jaws or why that feature would be important in any way. You look the way you do because of your ancestors.

Why so long in the face. Hey! they recon I have a weak chin, grow a beard, mmm 16, when you can, Who wants a chin like Rodger Ramjet anyway, just easier to hit. If your not prominent there, you will be somewhere else.

Every person is different, not all males have a prominent jaw
mine is not that big either

and how many people in your family have prominent jaws and how many don't, you're probably in the majority of those that don't. consider yourself lucky to be a part of majority.
