I rarely remember the things I have forgotten!
So I tend to remember and, if I forget, then it is rare that it matters. I do try and use a diary for the things I should remember not to forget... A figure, perhaps 95% remember and 5% forget, in a usual week.

I REMEMBER TO FORGET any old matter that causes grief and hurt but has no relevance to the present or the future

I FORGET TO REMEMBER that I am not a child anymore - and freak out whenever I am with children.

I have good recall of things past, Prehaps it is we remember what is meaninful to us, The worst of it is the walking from one room to another forgetfulness, but retrace your steps and
it all comes back!
