Ihave four plug sockets in my room but they're all miles apart so I can't use them all for something in one area, at the moment each one of these sockets is letting through 1200volts per hourso all together my room takes 4800volts at per hour and my electricals are either on stand-by or swirched on. Now my rooms only ment to take 960volts per hour and that's almost 5times less then what my room takes in. A couple of months ago though I was on my computer and I switched it off and went to unplug it and a huge flame came out the 5 plug extension socket and that tripped the main fuse down stairs and also took out all 24 fuses I have in my room.
How can I prevent this from happening again?

You have not stated where you live, it sounds like Australia somewhere, if that's the case then you are on 240 volts power maximum! So where all the extra volts is coming from, God knows! It's not the power station I can tell you! And if you turned on any appliance with 1200volts surging through it! It would fry!!!! Get a qualified electrician to check out your circuits because you have a intermittent fault there somewhere. Have a great day.

You are totally confused, and don't seem to know what you are talking about.

IF you are in the UK, any of your sockets, (assuming that they are 13 amp with square pins??) will have a maximum capacity of 13 amps, or 3000 watts, although not all at the same time, as the main fuse/breaker for the circuit (ring main) will have a max. of 30/32 amps or about 7.5-8.0Kw or 8000 WATTS (NOT VOLTS) IF UK -your voltage will be about 230-235.

You need to state which country and what type of premises you are in, and also why you have 24 fuses in your room??!!

Sounds as if you have confuse volts with watts, in either case you don't really understand what is happening so get an electrician in before you kill yourself.

Get in an electrician before you kill yourself. You are overloading the supply and are likely to burn down the building you live in.
