Yes, it does. More southern states are closer to the equator and during the winter they don't get snow but they are still cooler than normal.

In Colorado, the Rocky Mountains snow up over winter. There's a road that leads to the continental divide overpass and the snow lies so thick, the gate that blocks the road to stop vehicles is about 8 feet above the actual road... it's a road out of Leadville.

It depends on where you are really but mountains will get snow and the northern states will all be affected.

Including but not limited to Alaska, California (northern area), Oregon, Washington (state), Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska, North & South Dakota, Colorado, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Washington DC, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

The climate is fluctuating so there may be occasions when the weather patterns mean that more states are affected by snow, especially those that are usually very hot during the summer.

DEFINITELY -- there is SNOW in the USA ... plenty of states get snow ... and even (on rare occasions) there is snow in such states as Florida (and I do live there -- there was a dusting of snow one year on the house). Georgia gets snow, Alabama gets snow, etc etc etc (and these are considered some of the southern states). So that gives you some idea of the weather conditions during the winter in the USA.

Yes, usually in the northern states (sometimes the south gets snow, but it doesn't usually stick), and yes in NYC.

in Alaska yes

we still have a north right?

the U.S. isn't perfectly in line with the equator so of course it does

Yes it snows, like last winter, IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, there was ice on the grass. If you kicked it you'd end up wet.
