I can't put it in the shop right now because I need it for work. The problem I have is that it blows no heat what so ever. I can deal with it being cold, but not having the windows instantly frost up on the inside. Any tricks or ideas to try until I can get it fixed? Does rain-x work on the inside?

Buy a portable plug-in heater that runs on 12 volts and place it to point at the windshield.

Parts stores or home centers may carry them.
Leave a window open a crack to minimize frosting.

They make a 12 volt heater that plugs into a cig. lighter plug or 12 volt outlet in a car. These heaters can also be wired direct if necessary. More than one heater can be used if you wish, one on the dash for the windshield, one or two on the floor or console for you. Just be careful not to overload any part of the electrical system. these heaters can be bought at some truck stops, parts stores and on E-BAY. I hope this helps.

Keep a bottle of windshield antifreeze handy to de-frost the outside. Coat the inside with an anti-fog treatment and keep a roll of paper towels in the car. If you have an inverter with enough capacity, you could power a small hair dryer and keep that handy.
