I start back on the pill but I had to come of it for an operation 5 days later.?

I still have not had my period a month later. I got a clear lump of discharge around the time my period was due. I have take a home pregency test but it was negative. Is this normal ! My period is a week and a half late

Yes, this is normal to sometimes have the period be delayed because of coming off the pill. I had to go off my pill for a time last year because of a surgical procedure and because I didn't get off sooner than I actually did I had a period type bleed when I had the surgery.

So I learned from then on to stop it much sooner than the week before surgery because of knowing that I will bleed beforehand.

I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
