Like some strange comedy(Man of the year starring Robin William) MY favorite late night host, Steven Colbert is "running for president" funny?...Yes, Intriuging?....yes but does he actually have even a snowballs chance in Helllo fellow Americans of getting elected? What does this say for American politics? do we take them seriously?

It's better that he doesn't run. The people who would vote for Colbert are more likely to vote for a Democratic presidential candidate over a Republican, and in close states, those votes could decide the presidency.

No, he doesn't have a chance.

But it's not like he's the first comedian to run.

Comedian Pat Paulsen ran for president 6 time, too, just as nonsensically as Colbert. Colbert is basically stealing another comedian's joke.

He has been taken off the ballot in his home state. Watch the news sometime, man.

They aren't letting him run on the South Carolina ballot (where he was planning on starting all of this). so no he's not going anywhere with it unless he's going to be a write in.
