I'm pretty sure it will not be Oregon as they will most likely be playing LSU for the championship. If this season is not a prime example why we need a 8 or 16 team playoff, I don't not what the NCAA would need to sway them. The sad part is that LSU has gone through the SEC with one loss, much like Oregon plowing through the PAC 10 with a loss, and if OSU hadn't lost to Illinois last night, OSU would likely end up playing for the title. They haven't even played an opponent ranked higher than 24. Thank god they lost to an unranked opponent.
And to answer all of these fans who are wondering why the whole nation has hatred for OSU & the Big 10. It is because you play cream puffs & the Big 10 conference has all the money & the pull with the BCS. So now the true plot of the BCS & Big 10 has been exposed as the people who are holding back the progress of a playoff system. But I don't blame the Big 10, I wouldn't want to be beaten every year in the first round of a playoff by the 2nd or 3rd best SEC or PAC 10 school either.

Possible, but Oregon will go to NC game if they continue to win.
Also possible for a 3 loss team to win SEC-as the west could have Florida, Georgia and Tennessee all with 3 losses (Florida wins tiebreaker I believe). And Florida could beat LSU in championship game. So not only could Rose bowl have 3 loss winner, but so could the Sugar. It has been a wacky season.

No it is not possible to be oregon michigan because oregon will play in the national championship and yes if Michigan wins they are in the rose bowl, but they have no chance against ohio state so there is no need to worry.

Big Ten Champion gets a BCS bid no matter how many losses they have. It is possible to have a Rose Bowl rematch of last year with Michigan and USC.

we dont need a playoff system. There is a system already in progress that works its called the Playout/Playin System. Every week when a team loses they play themselves out of a spot for the national title. And vice versa each time a team loses. If a certain team loses and teams in front of them continue to lose while they continue to win why shouldnt they be rewarded with a chance at playing for the national title? Each week a team will either play themselves out or play themselves into the national championship game. We already have a PLAYOFF. You keep playing every week until you get knocked out. NCAA FOOTBALL HAS THE LONGEST PLAYOFF SYSTEM OF ANY SPORT. 14 WEEKS.

guns 1965 is one confused individual. First of all. All those teams that he mentioned are in the SEC east. Second. Florida has no chance of getting to the SEC Championship game unless they wait in line like all the other losers for their tickets.
Get your facts correct there, dufus!
PS........Oregon aint going to the BCS Championship game.
