At first, you may wonder the role of language in mathematics. However, have you figure out how you will learn all the mathematical principles if the findings of early mathematicians is not handed down to us through their writings? Are you willing to re-invent the wheel? On the practical side, how will you understand word-problems if you don't have grasp of the language?
