This discussion doesn't stop, does it? Why do you want to retire a player who is playing well ,sachin has been among scores in all the series be it England,Aus or current Pakistan series,he sometimes to contributes with Ball to and is a safe fielder. He is fit and healthy and his adding great value to the side.

Just because he is 34, he should not be retired.Brian Lara,Shane warne,Glen mcgrath,Inzamam,Courtney Walsh,Sunil Gavaskar,Javid Miandad all played cricket till they were 37/38. Anil kumble is 37 and Jayasurya is 38, Hayden & Gilchrist are 35 and are still playing at the highest level.

I think we should put an end to the Sachin retire discussion.

Sachin has a few more years of cricket in him: he still plays well, is useful as bat and bowls well, too! He is an inspiration, as a senior player with the right approach and temperament, an example to others, a source of confidence to the captain!

Sachin should continue as long as he performs well. Once he is convinced that he is not able to perform according to his expectations, he should retire.

India needs him for his vast experience. If you watched the match, you may have noted his conference with Dhoni when match was moving in Pak favor.
After that advice to bowler, a wicket fell.
And it turned the course of the match.
