Every year a team has a run and people wonder who the best team is, but the last team with the best record to win the superbowl was in 2003 when The patriots went 14-2. So even if you go by a teams record during the regular season, it might not make you best team, if you go by who wins the superbowl, i.e. last years San D. Charges 14-2, out the first round, Dallas Mavericks, out the first round. My guess for the superbowl winner, Colts. Harrison did not play last game, he makes a diff. And Manning wont make the same mistakes twice.

By record, it would have to be New England. But records don't mean anything once the playoffs start. A lot of good teams have been upset in the playoffs.
