Actually there are several facts.I´m a spaniard and in a certain manner I understand some reactions .

1. Chávez called fascist the former Spain´s President Aznar .
2. The present Spain´s President, the socialist Zapatero told President Chávez to moderate his tone. President Zapatero told him that even him disagree with some of President Aznar´s politics decisions but that a former President deserves respect.
3. Chávez interrupted President Zapatero´s speech talking about respect and telling him that Aznar did not respect Venezuela.
4.The King of Spain pointed his finger at President Chávez telling him that he must have respect for others too.
5. President Chávez interrupted again and then the King of Spain told Hugo Chavez to shut up .
6. This is an historic event cause in 30 years I have never seen the King Juan Carlos I lost his temper.

This is simply a question of good manners and diplomacy (not of ideology or the like)and I think The King of Spain did the right thing, just tell him to shut up cause in that particular moment he was being disrespectful .
Chávez is wrong in one thing , he says that the King of Spain have not been elected.
!He is wrong ! He was elected when the Spanish Constitution
was approved and voted by the Spanish People.

Because Chavez, who is a toady to Islamic killers, believes the Madrid train bombings of March 11, 2004 were justified; Spain's Socialist Party, for whom that worm Jose' Luis Rodriguez Zapetero is party leader, took advantage of the Islamic terror and usurped Anzar's government.

Anzar is disgusted by Chavez.

It's because
a) He's sticking his nose into something that's none of business and
b) He's demonstrating his ignorance and stupidity by calling Anzar a fascist, when he, as a believer in a centrally planned, state managed economy, is a lot closer to being a fascist than Anzar is

A long overdue statement by one of our allies. Chavez needs to be put in his place and needs to understand just how insignificant he really is.

Whats more unbelievable.... well, not really I guess, is a liberal coming to the defense of this dictator. Way to go James J!!! Good to know what side you guys really hang on.

Chavez was interrupting a speech by the foreign minister of Spain. Carlos just told him to shut the heck up and reminded him he has no manners. I think the King did exactly the right thing, and it was way overdue, BTW.
What a refreshing and unusual sight, a public figure of the highest standing who actually has a pair of cojones... BRAVO, His Royal Majesty !!! we need more leaders like you....

Because Hugo is a pompous *** that needs to be told to shut up. Everyone at that summit are all left wingers, so Hugo was definitely in good company there.

Because Jackazz Chavez kept interrupting him. It's about time someone told him to shut up. I have a few choice words I'd like to depart upon him if I ever get the chance.

I am glad he told him to shut up, he should have had him thrown out on his back side. I am sure there are actors and actresses who are mad, like the ones who go over and kiss up to Hugo . I wonder why Sheehan has not started something over this, after all , her little friend Hugo was told to shut up.
