firstly i have to say, you should have checked better which topic this was coming under.....as for the food for children, colours and shapes are a great way, textures too, if you are having porblems getting a child to eat, try getting the child to helpl with dinner, this will get them interested

Look up "Bento" on Google - kids LOVE bento boxes and there are lots of sites on how to prepare them for children. The tools and plastic containers are inexpensive, and it's fun for you, too!

Oooh are you gonna be one ANGRY baby mama when you realize a bunch oh homos are helping you with your babies food stuffs!

I say look into Jerry Seinfelds wifes cook book. She blends her vegetables into cup cakes and stuff.

Use food colourings
Cut things into shapes
Make 'faces' with things
Let them help prepare it with you - kids love that

decorate it with some of the stuff they like :)

for example jelly beans ... chocolate chips ... gummy bears ... stuff like that ....

also the idea of makin them help you prepare it is amazing ....and the other one making it colorful and in shapes is also the best :)
