Basically, Be very lucky. If you do not have a college education in today's global economy, you will hav e to rely on one of two things:

Networking-- you happen to know someone who will employ you and trust you with important decisions despite your lack of education.

OR

You must be very talented at something few others can do, like being a concert violinist, or an NBA basketball player.

If you decide to forgo college, may God bless you. I wouldn't advise it.

You do not necessarily have to go to college for four years, but you're still gonna need to have some form of education. Whether it be an associates, certification, or just a job training program within a company.
One way or another, you're gonna have to work to live a comfortable and modern life. There are no handouts. If you're wanting to avoid college cause you don't think you'll enjoy the experience or you don't think they really have anything that interest you, fine. If you're avoiding it cause you don't want to do all the work, you're gonna end up nowhere real fast.

Wulirob is right that the military can lead to success without a college degree; the problem, though, is that in wartime it is NOT a comfortable life! What about getting training to become a plumber, electrician, or mechanic on luxury cars? You could also look at construction and work your way up to become a contractor in the long run.

Military is one option. Lots of valuable training that you can later use in the civilian work force and all employers like to see it on a resume. You can always just work your way up the ladder. Just make sure the company that hires you has lots of opportunity for promotions. There are also lots of things that you can learn that will give you certifications on the subject that will also improve your accessibility to better jobs.

You either have to be really good at job interviews and B.S. - or you have to know someone who can get you a job.

Another option is getting a job that pays well, but nobody wants it because it sucks so much.
