Yes I'm often told Candice u are one of a kind with your quirky sense of humour and zest for life.
I try to find the upside of bad situations when they occur, being positive comes easy when u believe in yourself.(helps being a good listener)
Positive ppl attract those who are of same ilk, negativity drives me nutty.
That makes me a character and fun to be around and popular with friends etc...

I can tell you a characteristic of almost every single person with one word.... hypocrite.

You may hear a person say they are open minded... but they are in fact only open minded to stuff they're willing to accept, and closed minded to stuff they're not, which actually opposes the defintion, people may not realise they're doing this which is why many people will disagree. Don't ever ask anybody their characteristics because then you get a world full of kind, open minded, thoughtful, generous, just all around great people; and that doesn't really sound like the world we live in now does it, so who's fibbing?? But the truth is humans are dirty, and it's fine because it is the nature of the beast. Hope I have shed some light on your darkness.

Yes, I'm a character.
I read what you said on your profile.
So am I right to assume that we can
include our character thingy here?

I'm a teenager, call me "Leslie",
I've always liked that name,
not what dear old Mom & Dad gave me,
but it'll do just the same.
My character's name is Leslie.
She has delusions of grandeur
and hopes one day to be Governor
of one of the western states,
but in the meanwhile,
she just wants to be a teenager.
She is 15,
( I'm actually, 17. But this is the
character that I'd like you to consider.)
still in school, likes boys,
OMG, does she ever.
Leslie is an only child,
( I wish this part were true.)
and is being raised by her spinster Aunt
in North Carolina. Her family once
owned one of the ruby mines
near Franklin, but it was sold
for back taxes. She wants to leave home,
but realizes that in order to
obtain her goals, it is going to mean
that she finish High School, first.
( I'm graduating in 2008, thank goodness.)
She has a boyfriend, his name is Jeff.
Jeff's Dad is a Christmas Tree farmer
and only makes good money during the November/December rush.
His Mom works in the school cafeteria.
I'd like you to consider Leslie as a
character in your latest novel.
I think she would be a good and
different addition, because teenagers
are always on the phone or on the computer
or writing Dear Abby for advice.
What makes me a character,
why the fact that I'm a teen and
can see all of our flaws, but
yet too young to know how to correct the problems.
I have ideas, but they don't always work,
but I'm willing to try something new.
I think everyone is a character,
but how you see yourself and how others
see you are not the same.
I see myself as a kid,
who just wants to be a kid for as long as possible,
with no responsibilities and no cares, this would be nice.
My Mom sees me as the over-achiever, the one who is 17 going on 25, with the world by the tail.
My sister sees me as the big sister,
the one to go to when Mom's not there.
My friends at school see me as the kid from no-where,
but hey, she makes good grades.
And finally my teachers see me as the 4.0 average student, with a great future ahead of me.
I just want to be me,
the me,
I wake up to in the middle of the night.
The me,
who hugs the Motorcycle Pillow, when I'm sad.
Yes, without a doubt, I'm a character.

I am open minded. I bow to no one and earn my way through life without sucking up or whining for favors. I have a tendency to make others laugh and help those out far less fortunate than I.
My character has been described as rude, demoralizing, humorous, sinister, well informed, and quiet.
Doesn't make much sense to me either.
