Some guys just stay on their best behaviour to get the girl. Once they are official, they reckon no need to be on said behaviour any longer. Sad.

All relationships have a certain amount of control. Maybe you are in charge of the money and he is in charge of taking out the trash, either way someone is in charge of each aspect. Each of us test our limits at one point or another and if your husband is trying to control, it will be up to you to decide how far you are willing to let him push. Things change only if someone wants them to. I would suggest you try putting a little extra effort for a while and if it doesn't change how he acts then your marriage is in trouble. One person can't be everything.

Ellen L is right. If you take it you will be taking it for the rest of your life. Stand up for yourself and let him know that you are not property and you will be treated with respect. Not all men are like that. Just the ones that faked it to get a wife. Good luck dear.

I think he feels he has you now, he can do what he wants when he wants. Let the man know you won't put up with that . Don't be a doormat.
Tell him respect goes both ways. Open the lines of communication.

He no longer has to impress you. He's quit trying. Let him know that is not the way to KEEP you. Don't take this behavior from him. Good luck.

if he's blaming stuff on you, that's abuse. Controlling, also abuse.
