I will celebrate. It would be good to have an underdog prove that the pundits aren't all knowledgeable.
I think they've put themselves into a position where the can, but we'll see if they will.
Remember that until the Patriots did win, most people counted them out and said they couldn't do it. In hind sight, not the smartest predictions - and I'd love to see the program at Detroit succeed also.

I'm going to go outside and look for the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.
"Matt Millen he really knows how to pick a good player in the draft every year. Matt Millen has accomplished so many things in life. He is truely THE best general manager ever." There are so many things fundamentally wrong with that statement.
Sounds like you had one too many "special brownies"

Ya you are on some other high sh** about Millen and the Fords would be the ONLY owners in the Lions orgainzation so I guess they would be the best . But Marinelli is the best thing to happen for Detroit in a very long time. And when they do win the Super Bowl I will have a lot of I told you so's to issue out.

I am going to feel well rested because obviously it was all a dream.
I am happy to see Detroit finally putting it together and having a good year, but to give them a Super Bowl berth let alone a victory is fool-hearted.
Maybe next year.
Also, given Kitna's age and the fact that Detroit drafted Stanton last year, who is going to be the QB that takes them to the Super Bowl down the road. Kitna is not going to get any better than he is now. Do they let Martz have a crack at Stanton and see what he is made of or do they ride out Kitna and see how long and far he will take them?
I say they start working Stanton into the game plan, maybe increase his reps in practice just to see what they have. Martz is not going to stay in Detroit for much longer because there are other teams out there that will pay him more money to either be a head coach or offensive coordinator.

I would be incredibly happy lol. I do not really like the lions but it would just be really cool to see. I dont think stafford will begin the year starting. They are already worried that they are going to be so bad that it would break his spirit to put him in right away so they are going to begin the year with their second best QB so I really doubt there would be a super bowl win but if it happened it would be one of the best seasons ever and I would be happy to have been alive and watched it lol.

Well, you're either really ignorant or really cocky...Its no secret that Matt Millen is the lousiest GM in the NFL...Futility since Barry Sanders retired, until this year...Marinelli is probably saving Millen's job...for a year at least...It is nice to see the Lions actually being respectable though...

the NFC has no realistic chance of winning. The only shot in hell is if the team who wins the AFC gets really hurt winning their game. The two best teams in the NFC are Green bay and Dallas. But we all know the patriots are the best in all of the NFL
